Notice: I've decided to take up PlanUSA again. So now 100% of all money earned here will go to support the child I'm supporting in Plan USA. I'd just like to note here that although 24 dollars a month doesn't seem that much, I need as much help as I can get because I really don't have that much money at my disposal.

What is Quid Feet?
Quid Feet is the name of a series of comic strips that I used to do. They are not the focus of this art journal, but there will periodically be strips that are posted on the site.

What is this LJ for?
This livejournal is created for two purposes: to display art and to sell art. I wanted to do a project in which I can contribute to charity in a meaningful way, in this case, promote art.

Here are the types of posts you can anticipate on this site:
Art posts- These are artworks I have done at leisure. I post them up for archiving and viewing purposes only. At certain times I will make the originals available for sale, but otherwise I post them as I will and do not guarantee the quality and/or its level of viewing pleasure.

Shop Posts- My goal is to be able to donate at least 100 dollars every month. However, I know this is not very possible, especially in the beginning. However, I will put up at least 50 dollars worth of merchandise every Shop Post. The Shop will be restocked every time I have less than 3 items left. I never draw doubles of anything. So that means there will never be a duplicate in design. Categories in the Shop Posts include: Bookmarks, which are essentially art drawn on blank business cards and Postcard Doodles which are drawings on 3x5 postcards, usually sketches and/or doodles. There will be at least 5 of each released every shop post. I will occasionally have page sized art and originals from Art Posts on sale as well.

Pledge Update: I have pledged to donate 75% of all I make to charity. Therefore everytime I accumulate a decent amount I will change that into a cashier's check and send it to a certain charity organization. Pledge Updates include the details on what and how much the Shop has sold. It will also have a scan of the cashier's check before it is sent in. Pledge Updates will also have the total amount this site has donated in all.

Questions

1. How do I know you actually donate the money to charity?
Look, I'm giving you access to my Shop records and scans of the Cashier's check, what more can I possibly do to prove it to you? I don't need the money and this is just a somewhat meaningful way to contribute. The profit I make I use to buy supplies, some of which are pretty darn expensive. The bottom line is: If after everything I've shown you, you are still not convinced, don't buy anything.

2. How do I make a purchase?
Comment. All comments are screened, everything is on a first come, first serve basis and I will contact you for paying/shipping details.

3. Can I get refunds on anything?
No. You may not. You will be able to see the exact product before you order so once you place the order and send the money, it is final. Nothing costs too much, either, so it'd be rather excessive.

4. I didn't recieve anything, will you send another?
No. If it's been more than two weeks since I sent you the notification mail that I've mailed out the order and you still haven't recieved your item, then I'm sorry, your item has been lost by the post office and is no longer my fault. I cannot send you another because I do not make duplicates. If, however, the order you have placed is greater than 10 dollars worth, then I will send you something else. I do this, however, at my own will and I do NOT guarantee anything.

5. Can I donate to your program?
Why yes, yes you may. You can specify what percentage of the money goes to the accumulating amount for charity and what percentage goes to supporting me. If you do not indicate exactly how much, 90% will be donated to charity by default.

6. Who can purchase from the Shop?
Everyone and anyone. Eventually, that is. Currently, only the MUTUAL FRIENDS of this LJ can purchase from the shop. To become a mutual friend, I have to either know you in real life, or very well online. Eventually this will be open to everyone, but as of now, this is limited.

7. Do you do commissions?
No. I do not because I do not have enough faith in my ability to do so. If you insist, however, you may EMAIL me with the request and I may give it a try.

8. Your art sucks!/What were you thinking?!/I hate everything here!
Then what are you doing here? Get out.

Disclaimer: I know I am by far not the best artist and probably not even a great artist. But this is how I want to work toward a higher level and at the same time give back to people. So please, bear with me.
